Woodford Aerodrome is a former airfield located at Woodford, Cheshire. The aerodrome was built in 1924 and has an illustrious history of aircraft manufacturing. The Avro Lancaster, Avro Shackleton, Avro Vulcan, and Hawker Siddeley Nimrod were amongst the aircraft types that were built at the Aerodrome.

Woodford Aerodrome closed on 25th August 2011 following the cancellation of the Nimrod project. BAE Systems sold the site to Avro Heritage Ltd who plan to build housing on the site.
