Q - How can I book Shared Earth Photography?
To make a booking enquiry feel free to contact us via e-mail, the telephone, or through the contact form. We offer competitive rates for our services which include:
Q - When will the photos from my event/commission be ready?
We begin to process the images as soon as we return to the office. Your photographs will start to appear in your own online gallery within 24 hours of the shoot. All of your images will be online within 72 hours of the shoot and your CD will be dispatched after a further 24 hours.
Q - Are you insured?
Yes we are. We have full public liability insurance and are happy to provide copies of the relevant documents.
Q - I have a specific question about wedding photography.
Please visit our wedding FAQ page. We also have lots of information about our wedding photography service in the weddings section of our website.
Q - Can I buy prints of your images?
Almost all of Shared Earth Photography's images can be bought as prints. To make a purchase simply browse to your desired image and add the relevant item to the shopping basket. Once finished, proceed through the independent shopping cart facility to place your order. Your order will be processed by a professional printing lab and sent to you directly.
The print prices can be found next to your chosen image.
Q - Why can't I add certain images to the shopping cart?
While most images are available for purchase there are a small number which aren't. These photos will not have the 'add to cart' button or a price list displayed next to them. There are several reasons why a photograph isn't available for purchase (e.g. a client has already bought the rights for that image).
Please contact us if an image doesn't have the 'add to cart' button and we will reply with details of its availability.
Q - What does cropping mean during the checkout process?
The majority of Shared Earth Photography's images have an aspect ratio of 6 x 4. These images can be printed at the 6 x 4", 12 x 8", and 18 x 12" print sizes without any parts of the image being chopped off.
If you choose another print size (such as 7 x 5") certain parts of the image will be cut off because the aspect ratios of the image and print are different.
You can choose which parts of the image are cropped during the checkout process by moving the orange rectangle.
Q - The print size I want says 'Insufficient photo resolution', what does this mean?
Most of our images are derived from large files and can be reproduced as large prints (up to 20 x 30"). However, in rare cases the image's file size may be too small for your chosen print size and you would see this notice displayed. In these instances please choose a smaller print size or contact us to see if there is a larger file size available.
Q - What methods of payment are accepted?
Major credit cards are accepted including VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Paypal.
Q - How much do you charge for postage?
Postal charges will vary depending on the chosen shipping method, destination, and weight of the order. The charges are calculated by the professional printing lab which supplies our products and can be modified before finalising your order.
Q - When will my order arrive?
All orders are personally approved by ourselves for final retouching before being submitted to the lab. Dispatch is normally within 48 hours of your order confirmation.
Q - Will the watermark be displayed on my product?
No. The watermark will be removed prior to the printing process and is only displayed on online images as additional protection against copyright theft.
Q - My question isn't answered here, what should I do?
Please feel free to contact us and we will answer your enquiry as soon as possible.
